Orpheus Piano Co. provides regular piano service to legendary Greenwich Village music venue Caffe Vivaldi.
For over 30 years, Caffe Vivaldi has been a beloved gathering place for artists and music lovers in the West Village. After winning the 1987 Nobel Prize for Literature, Joseph Brodsky gave international press interviews over a drink at Vivaldi. Luminaries such as Al Pacino and Woody Allen seeking to capture the timeless magic of Greenwich Village filmed at Caffe Vivaldi.
Modeled after the famous coffeehouses of Vienna, the caffe pioneered and continues to offer a unique listening room environment for classical music. In the early 2000s Caffe Vivaldi began hosting live music every night of the week, and has evolved to present an eclectic mix of original pop, jazz, western classical, Pakistani and South Asian music.
